However, the split peas overnight in plenty of water.
Pea soup

Rinse the split peas and bring them together with 2 liters of water, bacon and pork legs to the boil. Any foam that rises to the surface remove with a slotted spoon.
Simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes pulling.
Halve the leek lengthwise, rinse under the tap and slice the leeks in half rings.
Peel and slice the onions into chunks.
Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes.
Peel and slice the garlic coarsely.
Peel and cut the carrots and celery into cubes
Add the vegetables to the soup.
Let the soup boil calm about 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally well. If necessary, add water.
Serve soup

Preheat the sausage according to the instructions.
Spoon the pork legs and bacon soup.
Discard the pigs feet away, cut the bacon finely and stir into the soup.
Season with salt and pepper.
Pick and chop the parsley and stir in the parsley into the soup. Cover the slices of rye bread with bacon
Cut the sausage into slices.
Serve the soup with smoked sausage in it and the rye bread next to it.
TIP: if you want bright green smooth soup, add wait with bacon and smoked sausage. Use a hand blender to puree the soup after you've added the parsley.
