Hi everybody, I'm a school teacher from central Kentucky making the transition to homesteading after 12 years in the classroom. I enjoy gardening and working with livestock as well as tinkering and building. I'm currently building a timber frame and straw bale cabin and look forward to hitting a point over the next few years where income from our pastured livestock, tree nursery, and CSA program will allow me to fully transition from the classroom to the homestead. My wife and I home-school our four kiddos, and enjoy doing things as a family. Blessings and welcome all!
