Leatherman Leap

So I posted a link about this on Wranglerstars facebook but I thought I would share it here and see what every one else thinks. I am a big fan of Leatherman tools and they have just come out with a product I think is really amazing. Leatherman has just come out with a Multitool for kids called the Leatherman Leap. It is a fully fledged out multitool that has been scaled down for smaller hands. but still uses the same grade steel they use for the rest of there tool. It comes with the knife blade unattached so the parent can attach it later when they feel the child is ready for it. Also another great feature is all the tools are liner locked for safety.

I think this is a great started tool for kids and I am happy to find out that company's value teaching kids how to use tools with out sacrificing quality. I mentor a few young men that I think would benefit from something like this. It also reminds me of when I was little any my dad gave me my first pocket knife and how much I treasured it. I hope Leatherman continues to make products like this and I hope other tool manufactures will get on board and do the same thing.
