Greetings from Brazil!

Hi there, earthlings;

My name is Leonard and I live in the southernmost state of Brazil, called "Rio Grande do Sul". To give you some perspective, it makes border with Argentina and Uruguay. I am located at the colder-highlands, at the middle of the state.
Despite the common sense, it's nothing like "Rio de Janeiro", nor there are monkeys running around the streets. All those generic pre-conceptualized ideas of 'Brazil' people have in their minds do not apply here. It's really different from the northern states. It's quite lovely. If you get interested, I can take some pictures to show you what it is like.

We still have lots of relatively 'cheap' and abundant land all around. The climate is great. The Summer is not that hot (around 25 celcius) and the Winter is not that cold (around 10 celcius). Snow is not that common, but happens. Rain is balanced throughout the year. With that climate, we can grow almost anything we want. Besides that, we also have lots of clean water from underground-banks.

I'm 23 years old now, work as a software developer, and one of my main objectives is to become a Homesteader. My wife and I already bought a piece of land, but I believe it will take 3 to 4 years or so for us to engage on the project of our lives. Firstly we want to work on some financial and technical aspects, to be more equipped and prepared.

Furthermore, I wish and hope that we can share a lot of information and knowledge, thus creating a healthy, growing and useful community that is going to help ourselves and is going to honor WranglerStar's famiily gift of giving people new perspectives in life.

Best Regards;
Leonard.
